Information We Collect

Files You Upload

When you use a server-side tool (merge, split, compress, convert), your file is uploaded over HTTPS to our server, processed immediately, and permanently deleted the moment the output is sent back to your browser. We never open, read, index, analyse or store the contents of your files. Our staff cannot access your files even if they wanted to.

Log Data

Like every website, our server records standard HTTP access logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and response code. These are kept for a maximum of 30 days and are used only to diagnose abuse or technical issues.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics in anonymised mode or a self-hosted alternative) to count page views and understand which tools are popular. We do not build user profiles and we do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

Our own tools set no tracking cookies. Third-party ad providers (such as Google AdSense, if enabled) may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can control or block these cookies in your browser settings.

Because we do not store your files or personal data, there is generally nothing for us to delete on request. If you have specific privacy concerns or you would like a copy of any log data associated with your IP, please contact us via the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

BestToolHub is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
